Please read first......
Firstly please let me explain that by showing these results I am not claiming that you will be able to trade and make exactly the trades recorded here. Firstly you may not trade at the same time of day as I do; you may wish to trade another currency; you may be more cautious and miss some winning trades - on the other hand you may also miss some losing trades!
FiveTicFOREX was initially released as a way of trading that predominately relied on making just one trade per day (of which 80% plus are profitable trades) where there was a fixed stoploss and profit target for each currency. Since October 2008 the currency markets gave many more opportunities to follow the trend and make much bigger gains. Following trends has always been part of the method but its' significance has multiplied since Oct08.
Incorporating trades into the results tables is problematic...
Should "every" trade be included - in which case we'd see unrealistically profitable results as no one trades 18 hours a day.
Should only the trades "I, Matt Sharp" do, be included. This then assumes you trade in my time zone for the same hours that I do.
So please understand that I have included the results that a reasonable trader could be expected to see. Also I have NOT included some of the larger trend trades that boost the profits substantially as this then would not compare with results prior to Oct08 where no trend trades where included.
